Itchy skin
I have had very dry skin on my eyelids for about a year and sometimes they hurt. Now I have it on my scalp and the nape of my neck. It is very itchy and I would like to know what it is and how to help myself out with it! If it is eczema what are my treatment options?

A number of conditions could cause your symptoms. Of course it is impossible to make a definitive diagnosis without an examination, but I suspect your problems are due to eczema or seborrheic dermatitis. I always start with moisturizing and irritant avoidance. I would try a gently moisturizer that is specifically for "sensitive skin" and is fragrance-free. Use this once a day. You could also use over-the-counter hydrocortisone on your neck (but not your eyelids) for no more than two weeks. If the problem persists I would recommend seeing a dermatologist.
